Emmett C. Jones, III, Esq. - Associate Attorney  
   
Emmett Jones is a young attorney who is looking to change the way legal work is done by utilizing new technologies to make the process more efficient for the attorney and more enjoyable for the client.  Emmett is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University (B.S. in Policy/Business Management & Political Science) and the Duquesne University School of Law.  He is presently licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.  
   
Before joining the Koeberle Law Firm, Emmett focused his efforts on the legal side of government work; including internships with the Pittsburgh City Council and as a contract writer for Carnegie Mellon’s Software Engineering Institute.  As far as traditional legal work, Emmett has spent the last few years as a practicing bankruptcy attorney, helping hundreds of people save their homes or escape credit card debt collection.  
   
When not practicing law, Emmett can usually be found on a computer.  He runs his own blog, sportsbusinessdigest.com, which focuses on the business of sports, sports marketing and some of the current legal issues in the sports world.  He is also working on some side projects that use social media technology to create business relationships in the legal and sports worlds.  Some of Emmett’s work has been republished in the Chicago Sun-Times, Reuters, and ABC’s Affiliate station in Portland, Oregon.  
   
Emmett is currently a member of the America Bar Association, and their intellectual property, sports & entertainment, and bankruptcy law subsections.  He is also a member of the Sports Lawyers Association.
